Sonia Johnson is a strategic operator with more than 25 years of experience leading at the intersection of Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Security Operations, and Organizational Effectiveness.

She has built and scaled people‑operations, security, and fraud‑prevention systems across complex, multi‑site, and international environments. Her leadership includes directing global programs across North America, LATAM, and Asia; unifying fragmented HR, security, and investigative workflows; and strengthening cross‑regional alignment in high‑risk, high‑volume settings. Sonia has led global fraud‑prevention and security operations, built end‑to‑end incident reporting and investigation frameworks, and partnered with executive teams to reduce organizational risk while improving culture, trust, and operational clarity. Her background also includes working in and consulting for start‑ups and early‑growth organizations, where she established foundational HR and security processes, supported rapid scaling, and built practical, resilient systems that could grow with the business.

Sonia’s HR background includes employee relations leadership, complex investigations, policy governance, leadership coaching, and organizational health assessments. She has led full‑scope Talent Acquisition functions, managed high‑volume hiring cycles, and advised organizations on compliant, effective hiring practices.

Her security expertise spans workplace violence prevention, behavioral threat assessment, physical security program oversight, and cross‑functional risk mitigation. She is known for bringing a calm, unbiased, steady presence to challenging situations and for helping organizations build resilient, high‑trust environments.

Sonia is an active member of ATAP and IAHSS and previously held SHRM‑CP and PHR certifications.
